Pinnacle Ozone Solutions traveled to Denver, Colorado for the International Ozone Association’s Pan American Group (IOA-PAG) 2026 Conference, held August 24–27. The event brought together researchers, consultants, manufacturers, and operators from across the ozone industry for a week of technical sessions, tours, and networking.
The Pinnacle team, headquartered in Cocoa, Florida, was present at Booth #7 throughout the conference, fielding questions from customers, consultants, manufacturers, and other operators across the ozone industry. The team included Chuck Smith, Bud, Eric, Thoram Charanda, Philippe Taliana, Constance Beaulaton, and Sannel Patel.
A highlight of the week came from Thoram Charanda, Chief Science Officer at Pinnacle, who delivered two presentations during the conference’s technical program: one on advanced oxidation of geosmin using ozone and peroxone in surface water treatment, and another on optimizing ozone systems for bromate control in high-bromide groundwater. Charanda also led a roundtable discussion on ozone testing methods, giving Pinnacle a direct voice in the week’s technical conversations.
Many of the week’s technical sessions tied directly into areas where Pinnacle is already active, including ozone system design, water reuse, bromate control, taste and odor, advanced oxidation, emerging contaminants, and system operation and control. A session on ozone system design, covering commissioning, moisture intrusion, and lessons learned in equipment procurement, was especially relevant to how Pinnacle approaches complete ozone systems, and the continued industry focus on water reuse and direct potable reuse underscored a market that remains important to the company.
Beyond the booth, the conference offered valuable time with consultants, customers, injection partners, and other ozone companies outside the usual project conversations. The week’s technical tours were also well attended and informative, giving the team another way to engage with the broader ozone community.
