The Assembly Technician 1 is responsible for performing basic assembly tasks under supervision. This entry-level position requires effective communication, basic soldering, and product assembly skills. The technician will follow standard operating procedures (SOP), quality assurance (QA) guidelines, and environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations to ensure products meet company standards. Novice PC skills (Windows and Microsoft 365) are also essential for documentation and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Assembly: Perform supervised assembly of electronic or mechanical products according to work instructions and SOPs.
- Soldering: Apply basic soldering techniques for electronic components as required by the assembly process.
- PC Operations: Use basic PC skills (Windows/O365) for tasks such as reviewing instructions, reporting, and completing documentation.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure clarity on work tasks and address any issues promptly.
- SOP/QA/EHS Compliance: Follow all standard operating procedures, quality assurance standards, and environmental health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and report any defects or assembly errors to supervisors for corrective action.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of PC operations (Windows, Microsoft Office 365).
- Experience with basic soldering is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a supervised, team-oriented environment.
Working Conditions
