Company Background
Sherwood Logan and Associates (SLA) has been a trusted name in water and wastewater treatment since its founding in 1980 by Geoffrey Sherwood and Charles Logan. Starting as a manufacturers’ representative for over 10 companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, SLA has grown into a premier provider of water and wastewater treatment equipment. With four offices spanning from Virginia to Connecticut and a team of 37 employees collectively holding over 500 years of industry experience, SLA is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and unparalleled expertise.
In 1984, SLA established its S-L Controls division to meet the growing demand for quality systems integration services. Specializing in municipal water and wastewater projects, the division has successfully completed nearly 1,500 instrumentation and control system projects, from small pump station panels to large-scale SCADA systems.
Over the past 35 years, SLA has expanded its offerings to include engineered instrumentation, process equipment, and pumping systems while continuously enhancing its team in engineering, production, field service, and project administration. The company’s sales and technical staff include degreed engineers, licensed Professional Engineers (PEs), and respected water and wastewater professionals.
